Description

The PLC Meeting Document is an example of the note-taking tool I created for the professional learning community (PLC) meetings that I led as the head of the chemistry department.

Relevance

This artifact reflects ISTE coach standards 1: change agent (1e) and standard 2: connected learner (2b). During the PLC meetings, I connected my peers to the supports that they needed to maximize the potential of technology for learning (1e). For example, There was a meeting that I dedicated to learning a new webtool: edulastic. The document also shows that I actively participate in professional learning communities (2b).

Analysis

This artifact shows the meeting notes from one semester of PLC meetings. The document contains links to other resources that my peers can refer back to after the meeting. The notes show our PLC analyzing class data, collaborating on common assessments, and pursuing PLC-focused professional development for new technology.
